A write-up after a workshop does two jobs. It tells the people who could not come what happened, and it holds the group to what it said it would do.
What we talked about
Fifteen people came. Most arrived with a problem rather than a plan, which is the right way round. The three that came up more than once were after-school supervision, help with government paperwork, and a place for older members to meet during the week.
What people took away
- Two people are working up the after-school idea into a pilot
- One person is mapping which paperwork services already exist before we duplicate anything
- Everyone took the one-page plan template home
The material
The slides and the template from the session were sent to everybody who came, and to the two people carrying ideas forward. Ask us if you want a copy.
